Position: Warehouse Operations Manager

Position Summary
The Warehouse Operations Manager will take full operational ownership of our new 145 sqm
fulfillment hub. This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role requiring an organized, trustworthy
individual to manage daily opening/closing procedures, maintain strict inventory oversight
across multiple e-commerce channels (Takealot, Makro, Amazon, Shopify), and keep fulfillment
speeds exceptionally high.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Security & Opening Duties: Complete daily key-holder duties, including unlocking the facility every morning, executing security checks, and locking down/arming the facility every evening.
Merchandise & Inventory Oversight: Maintain absolute stock accuracy using asset management software (Sage Cloud); log inbound supplier lines, verify stock counts, and prevent shrinkage or inventory deficits.
Multi-Channel Order Processing: Access backend vendor portals daily, specifically managing the processing of Makro marketplace orders, generating accurate shipping waybills, and handing them over to the associate for prompt packing.
Fulfillment & Operational Support: Step onto the floor to actively assist the fulfillment associate with high-volume picking and packing lines during peak periods to ensure zero dispatch backlogs.
General Management: Oversee the day-to-day workflow of the warehouse floor, manage localized supplier drop-offs, coordinate driver handovers, and maintain overall facility standards.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in retail logistics, e-commerce fulfillment, or warehouse management.
High level of tech-literacy (comfortable navigating vendor portals like Makro, Takealot, and inventory systems).
Demonstrated reliability and absolute integrity (sober habits, clear criminal record for key-holder status).
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Position Summary
The Warehouse Fulfillment Associate is the engine of our daily physical operations. This role
focuses on executing high-accuracy order picking, fast packing under strict marketplace
guidelines, receiving inbound freight safely, and managing quick turnarounds for local delivery
couriers.
Key Responsibilities
Picking & Packing: Execute precise picking runs from floor grids and mezzanine shelving using digital platform slips. Pack, box, and label items meticulously according to varying marketplace guidelines (Takealot, Amazon, Makro) to ensure zero customer return defects.
Inbound Shipments & Receiving: Assist with offloading inbound supplier shipments, unboxing inventory, verifying piece counts against delivery notes, and organizing stock cleanly onto designated pallet floor grids or shelving units.
Dispatch & Courier Handover: Coordinate the swift handover of packed shipping boxes to marketplace couriers, ensuring all manifests are signed accurately.
On-Demand Local Dispatching: Process fast-turnaround customer collections via our dedicated street-facing partition hatch for on-demand local delivery drivers.
General Facility Upkeep: Maintain an ultra-clean, safe, and uncluttered workstation, managing packing materials and assisting with basic daily maintenance.
Candidate Requirements
Prior experience in a warehouse packing, retail, or general logistics environment.
Ability to handle physical work, including lifting and organizing boxed stock (such as bicycles).
Strong attention to detail (ensuring the right items match the correct waybills every single time).
Punctual, energetic, and a strong team player.
